The goal is to make Corona Light the "Most Liked Light Beer" on Facebook.
Corona Light the beer of choice for active men and women ages 21 to 29 is moving into social media, with an ambitious Facebook initiative that includes featuring fans' photos on a 150-foot digital billboard in Manhattan's Times Square.
Those who "like" Corona Light will be invited to upload their photos for projection on the Times Square digital billboard. In addition, images from Times Square, including the billboard, will be posted on Facebook, so that those featured on the billboard can watch for their moments in the spotlight and share them with friends.
Here's how it works: you "like" the Corona Light Facebook page. Once you do that, you get access to the Times Square app, which will let you upload a photo (at least 500x500) for use in a billboard the company will be running from November 8 to December 6. There will even be pictures from the other side of the square showing what your face looks like hovering over the crowds of people that traverse Times Square every day.
