FacePAD: Facebook Photo Album Downloader, is a Mozilla Firfox addon that allows you to download your friends’ facebook albums, Events albums, and Group Albums, en masse, with the click of a button.

The user must first set their language preference. To do this, go to TOOLS>ADD-ONS >FacePAD> Preferences/Options. Choose the language that your Facebook is set to. Currently, FacePAD supports:
English (US/UK)
Dutch
French (Canada).
German
Italian
Spanish
Other languages are to be added soon.
Also make sure that COOKIES are ENABLED and your DEFAULT DOWNLOAD DIRECTORY is set in Firefox's OPTIONS/PREFERENCES.
To download photos from the a friend's album (NOT EVENTS OR GROUPS ALBUM), right-click (with your mouse) on the name/link of a facebook album and click the Download Album with FacePAD option. If you did this properly, a JavaScript pop-up will appear telling you that it has begun downloading the selected album. Press OK and the photos will be downloaded to Firefox’s default download directory.
To download an album from Events Album or Groups Album, the user must right-click on the See All link on the main page of the group or event of interest.
You might have pictures intermingled on your desktop with other files and you cannot simply mass erase. Follow the following steps to stay out of trouble:
How to save an album to a Folder
1.) Create a new folder
2.) Give it an appropriate name
3.) Open Firefox
4.) Go to Tools>Options
5.) In the downloads section, look for "Save Files To"
*Remember this location for steps 8 and 9.
6.) Click browse and change the setting to the folder you had just created
7.) Find the album and download it as you would normally do
8.) Repeat steps 3-5
9.) Click browse and restore it to the original download folder
